Prepositions – Introduction

Preposition वह word है जो noun या pronoun का संबंध sentence के दूसरे शब्दों से बताता है।

Examples: in, on, at, by, with, from, to, for, since, under, over, between आदि।

Preposition of Time

With का प्रयोग instrument या साथ होने के अर्थ में होता है।

• She went with her mother.

Since and For

Since निश्चित starting point के लिए और For duration के लिए प्रयोग होता है।

• I have lived here since 2020.
• I have lived here for five years.

Between and Among

Between सामान्यतः दो के बीच और Among कई लोगों या वस्तुओं के बीच के लिए प्रयोग होता है।

• The two boys sat between their parents.
• He distributed the sweets among the children.
